A little over a month ago, I posted about the Super Outbreak of 1974, the largest outbreak of tornadoes in American history, and the utter destruction it laid on Guin, AL, which was quite literally within 5 miles of my dad’s house at the time. After last night’s destruction in Oklahoma, Georgia and Missouri, I think it’s a good time to show a couple of things that I saw this past week. First, from that Super Outbreak, a video done by ABC 33-40 out of Birmingham that actually shows the pictures from Guin…it’s as bad as you would think (it remains, by far, the strongest tornado to hit the state of Alabama)
